The late great Mickey Mantle was a fan favorite who played 18 seasons with the New York Yankees clubbed 536 home runs during his illustrious career and helped the Bronx Bombers win seven World Series championships. This lot includes a Mantle autographed and beautifully framed artists proof (#12) serigraph by renowned artist Robert Meyers. The actual proof measures 24 wide by 36 high but comes framed and matted to measure 32 wide by 43.5 high. The proof which shows an illustrated head shot of Mantle in uniform includes Mantles signature in black marker accompanied by the inscription H.O.F. 1974. Lastly the proof has been signed by Meyers himself in pencil on the bottom right.
