The Roberto Clemente award medal presented here originates from the personal collection of the iconic ball player and legendary humanitarian. The silver plate on copper medal features "FED" and "65" engraved on front along with torch symbol with laurel vine in relief. Reverse is engraved "R.Clemente". The medal retains its original red white and blue ribbon with pinback. Some age fading to the ribbon is present and medal itself has wear to the silver plate surface. 3 1/2" total length. Includes letter of provenance from the Clemente family.
