Offered is a Mickey Mantle H&B "K55" professional model game used bat that was a favored model of Mantle near the end of his prominent career with factory markings that indicate that it is from the 1965 to 1968 era. The bat measures 34 inches and weighs 33 ounces consistent with H & B shipping records for Mantle during that time period. It is an absolutely gorgeous example with deep pronounced markings. The high grade white ash has aged beautifully to a deep rich golden blonde hue. The bat shows some surface wear and general handling wear but lacks any real indications of game use. This Mickey Mantle game ready bat is picture perfect with great aesthetic display quality.
Includes LOA from Ed Crosby former MLB player (1970-76 with Cardinals Reds & Indians) and father of 2004 AL ROY Bobby Crosby. Ed acquired his bat collection from clubhouse managers or players directly.
