1969-72 Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Dick(Rich) Allen Professional Signature Model P89 bat probably game used by the enigmatic superstar probably in 1970 when Allen and Ed Crosby were teammates with the St. Louis Cardinals. Allen hit .292 lifetime over his 15 year career. After playing with the Phillies for the first 7 years he shuttled between 5 other teams over the next 8 stopping long enough to win the American League Most Valuable Player Award with Chicago in 1972. "P89" stamped into top of knob. Allen's number 15 in black marker on both top of knob and end of barrel. Uncracked bat displays light use with bat rack marks. Bat is 36 inches long and weighs 41.8 ounces. Beautiful condition bat from one of the greatest talents to ever play the game.

Includes LOA from Ed Crosby former MLB player (1970-76 with Cardinals Reds & Indians) and father of 2004 AL ROY Bobby Crosby. Ed acquired his bat collection from clubhouse managers or players directly.
