This 7-inch tall bobbin' head of Mickey Mantle is one of the most sought-after Mantle collectibles and the offered examples are handsome depictions of the beloved Yankee in the unique Bobbin Head genre. Its vibrant high-gloss colors show a nice gloss and only a handful of tiny nicks none of which markedly detract from the presentation. There is some paint loss on Mantle's left shoulder that seemingly developed from contact with the edge of his chin. The facsimile signature of Mantle on the round base is almost completely intact with only the smallest glimmer of a nick. Seven-inch square-based Mantle nodder is in extremely nice and complementary condition with the only visible nick coming at the bottom of his lower lip; Mantle facsimile decal at the base is in likewise superb condition. Bottom of the base has "Japan" sticker and adjacent "Patent Pending Japan" imprinted alongside. Both bobbin heads perform their basic nodding function in a consistent and persistent manner.
