Bobby Richardson was the longtime second baseman for the New York Yankees between 1955 and 1966. He was an eight-time All Star and three-time World Series champion with the Bronx Bombers. Richardson was known for coming up with clutch hits on many occasions in the World Series.

 

Offered is a bat used by Richardson during the 1958 season, the year he won his first World Series title. The H&B "C12" pro model bat exhibits outstanding game use with a handle crack and small chip on the back barrel. Some grain swelling is on the back barrel. Many ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. John Taube, the bat expert at PSA/DNA, has given the bat a GU 8.5 grade. 

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. If you would like your items shipped in a different method, such as UPS/FedEx Next Day or UPSFedEx 2-Day, you must contact our Post Sale Services Manager Veronica Rodriguez by emailing customerservice@scpauctions.com to discuss alternative shipping instructions. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
