The 1956 World Series was a rematch of the 1955 World Series and featured the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. The Yankees won the series after a hard-fought seven games to secure the franchise's 17th championship. The series was also historic as it served as the final World Series played in by the great Jackie Robinson, as he retired following the season. Offered are a pair of ticket stubs from Games 2 and 6 of the Series.
