1951 NCAA Basketball National Championship medallion presented to a player on one of the 16 involved teams for his participation in the tournament. Kentucky won their 3rd NCAA Basketball Championship in the tournament that year. 1 1/2" in diameter medallion has athlete being crowned with a wreath surrounded by "NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION FOUNDED 1906" on one side. Other has full body image of a basketball player with "NATIONAL COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP" and "1951".
