Offered is a New York Yankees game-worn road jersey from Ichiro Suzuki the Japanese legend who has captivated baseball fans from two continents in a career that has amounted to more than 4000 base hits (including Japan). Oh and by the way he has also won 10 Gold Gloves two batting titles 2 Most Valuable Player awards and the 2001 Rookie of the Year (Fred Lynn is only other to win both MVP and ROY in same season). Yep the man with a magic wand and rifle arm who runs like the wind will surely find a second home in Cooperstown some day. On this September 13 2013 late summer evening at Fenway Park against the rival Red Sox however Ichiro was held hitless in four at-bats as Boston prevailed 8-4 over the Yanks. The rarity of that in itself makes this jersey collectible!
Ichiro has signed on the back in 8-9/10 silver felt tip pen. "NEW YORK" in darkest blue across the front with large "31" in the same blue on the back. Majestic Authentic Size 42 "2013" and +.25"slv" tags sewn into front tail with "NEW YORK YANKEES" bar code sticker applied right below. Jersey exhibits light to moderate use appearing essentially as-issued and problem-free. It also comes with every form of authentication imaginable. Another game-worn gem from a future Hall of Famer and perhaps the best import from overseas to ever play the game.
