From the estate collection of Barney Stein comes this recognizable portrait of Jackie Robinson. Taken in 1951 by Stein, this same image was used by Topps for Jackie's 1953 Topps #1 trading card. The black and white original photo was printed off its original negative from the prestigious Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. The reverse has a Barney Stein stamp. It comes with letters from PSA/DNA (Type 2) and Barney Stein's daughter. Type 1 versions of this famous image typically sell for five figures. Great opportunity to acquire a more affordable example with incredible clarity in pristine condition.
