St. Louis Cardinals professional model game used hat from the 1940's. Rawlings St. Louis tag at inside back. "7" in black marker under bill. 6 different players wore #7 during the 1940's. 1940 Joe Medwick. 1941-42 Creepy Crespi. 1943-45 George Fallon. 1946 Lou Klein. 1946-47 Nippy Jones. 1947-49 Erv Dusak. Some soiling to the cap with a 4" strip of leather in the lining having hardened and cracked with some pieces missing. Size 7 1/8. Displays very nicely.
