Beautiful condition 1929 World Series (Philadelphia Athletics vs. Chicago Cubs) program for Games 1 & 2 played at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The powerful Athletics easily took the Series 4 games to 1 behind the slugging of Jimmie Foxx Al Simmons Mickey Cochrane Mule Haas Jimmy Dykes and Bing Miller. Program itself super clean With a few very small creases to the covers mainly at the holes for the string that holds it together. Opposing managers Connie Mack and Joe McCarthy are pictured on the front cover with full color rendition of Wrigley Field on the back. Inside contains photos of all the players on both teams with the Cubs all having facsimile autographs plus score sheets and a couple of period ads. Program super clean and has never been scored. Inside pages are perfect looking. Comes with the original unused mailing envelope in nice condition. One would be hard pressed to find a better looking copy.
