Decent lesser condition program for the 1924 World Series Series between the Washington Senators and Pittsburgh Pirates for the games played at Griffith Stadium. The Pirates battered Walter Johnson 9-7 in Game 7 to take the World Championship and become the first team to come back and win after being down 3 games to 1. Front cover pictures the opposing managers Bucky Harris of the Senators and Bill McKechnie of the Pirates. Inside is loaded with both portrait and action photos of all the Washington players as well as photos of League and Team officials. The Pirates are all pictured on 2 pages near the back most in full body poses with a few portraits. Program is also jam packed with interesting period ads hotels restaurants clothiers etc. even a bowling alley. Inside pages of the unscored program do have some scattered light tears and stains with some pages having chipping. The covers both have chipping tears and tape applied. The spine has been taped about 80% along the edge. Everything considered still a very interesting item.
