Beautiful framed display featuring four items relating to the historic July 4th 1910 fight between the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Johnson and challenger the former undefeated World Heavyweight Champion James Jeffries. In the frame are:
- $30 Inner Circle original ticket stub to the fight. Stub pictures Jack Johnson and James Jeffries as well as promoters Tex Rickard and Jack Gleason. Front of ticket looks to be in VG-EX condition.
- Advertisement to purchase tickets on a special first class luxury train that will be running from Philadelphia to San Francisco then on to the Johnson - Jeffries fight which they refer to as the "GREATEST GLADIATORIAL CONTEST" of modern times. Ad looks to be in great shape.
- Pair of period 4" by 5" original photos of Jack Johnson in suit and bowler hat. One photo is in perfect condition. The other has what look to be a pair of small holes and a stain in the upper right corner.
Framed to a size of 18" by 22 1/2".
