Beautiful lithographed 12 page album obtained by customers who sent in 50 coupons found in boxes of Allen & Ginter cigarettes. Album features full size images of all 50 cards found in the 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter World's Champions issue. The offered example has been glued into a period album. From the one page that has been removed it appears all pages have been glued at the four corners with areas covering 1" to 1 1/2" square. Half the pages have little or no damage on the front while the others have varying degrees of problems most associated with the corners and not affecting any of the cards images. The pages containing the baseball players are:

Tim Keefe/Cap Anson/Charles Bennett/Mike Kelly No damage to front.

John Clarkson/Bob Carruthers 1/2" diagonal of damage to lower left corner.

Jack Glasscock/Joseph Mulvey/Charles Comiskey No damage to front.

John Ward (front page of album) One hole for string torn some creases at edges thin 1/2" black line at top corner. None of these affect the color images.

Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill Cody are on the missing page.

Front and back cover of vintage album present but missing spine cover and all the other pages.

Despite the noted flaws still a beautiful piece of 19th Century lithography.
