When the Peyton Manning era in Indianapolis officially ended in 2012 Colts fans were in mourning and for good reason. No quarterback could fill the shoes of the future first ballot Hall of Famer who took them to the playoffs virtually every year and brought home their first Super Bowl since the Johnny Unitas era. At least that's what everyone thought. The Colts drafted Andrew Luck with the #1 overall pick in 2012 and all he's done is lead them to the playoffs and earn a trip to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons. With Luck at the helm the transition has been almost seamless. As long as he stays healthy the sky is the limit for the polished Stanford grad. Presented here is Luck's game-used signed and inscribed jersey from Indianapolis Nov. 23 2014 home game against Jacksonville. Luck threw for 253 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 49 yards in the Colts' smooth 23-3 victory a dual-threat effort that has become so common. The jersey comes courtesy of Panini America's exclusive relationship and game-used partnership with Luck.
The royal blue mesh Nike jersey boasts Luck's number "12" on the chest back and both shoulders in white tackle twill. His Captain "C" patch appears over the right chest with 3 gold stars denoting the number of years he has been an honorary team captain. Inside the rear collar is a "2014" strip tag next to the Nike and NFL tag with "46" "SKILL" and serial number "219110019075". On the back below his last name in white tackle twill lettering Luck has signed the "1" and inscribed the "2" with "vs. JAX 11/23/14 21-32 253 1TD" in matching black Sharpie. Based on the smell and feel the jersey has been laundered. Still it displays obvious signs of game use including 3-4 faint contact marks on the front numbers that can be photo-matched (Getty 460738036). What an incredible offering of one of the brightest young stars in the NFL!
