The only thing missing from Peyton Mannings 2013 season his first in Denverwas that elusive 2nd championship ring. He broke pretty much every single-season record and took the Broncos to Super Bowl XLVIII. Manning was eager to get Denver over the hump and put together another sensational 2014. He threw for 4727 yards and 39 touchdowns as the Broncos finished the regular season 12-4 this time falling short in the divisional round. In week 12 the Broncos hosted the visiting Miami Dolphins.at Sports Authority Field. Presented here is Peytons game-worn home jersey from that Nov. 23 2014 game. Denver pulled out a 39-36 victory as Manning went a very Peyton-like 28 of 35 passing for 257 yards and 4 touchdowns in the process became the third player in NFL history with TD passes in 50 consecutive games (joining Brady and Brees). Miami held a 28-17 lead in the 4th quarter before Manning and co. roared back with 22 straight points. This jersey was acquired by Panini from the Denver Broncos as a part of their exclusive relationship and game-used partnership.
The orange jersey is a size "46" as seen on the Nike label inside the collar. The year "2014"flag tag is attached and the serial number reads 219110012368. Manning's captains "C" patch appears in a military camouflaged design sewn on the right chest above his number "18" which comes in white on navy blue tackle twill. "BRONCOS" is stitched on the upper chest between the numbers and NFL logo at the collar. Navy blue trim runs around the collar and up the sides of the body. Each shoulder features Manning's "18" as does the back all in white on blue tackle twill. "MANNING" rides across the back in white tackle twill on an orange name plate. The jersey shows excellent game use with minor dirt/grass stains on the white numbers and letters and a paint transfer/contact mark on the left shoulder. The jersey smells and feels as if it has been laundered.
Includes Team Letter from the Denver Broncos equipment manager plus a hologrammed COA from Panini Authentic (PA30695).
