Featured here is an awesome pair of Kyrie Irving game-worn shoes from the Cleveland Cavaliers' 2014 opening night game on October 30 vs. the New York Knicks at Quicken Loans Arena. The cleats are each autographed by Irving and sourced directly from Panini as part of their exclusive contract with the Cavs star point guard. In LeBron James' highly-anticipated debut after returning to his former team it was Kyrie who led the Cavs with 22 points and 7 assists in a 95-90 losing effort. Irving averaged 21.7 points for the 2014-15 season including the two top single-game outputs in the league that year at 57 and 55 points respectively. His 57-point game is the highest in team history one better than LeBron's 56 in 2005. If not for his fractured left kneecap in the NBA Finals who knows how the Cavs would have fared against the champion Golden State Warriors.
Irving's Nike Hyperdunk 2014 shoes come in size 12 and show appropriate game use inside and out. The low-mid cut design comes in nifty Cavaliers-themed navy red and gold colors. Kyrie's unique Nike fear logo - a "K" that has initials KI - is stamped on the blue tongues. The interior tagging reads SEASON FA14 and PROMO SAMPLE confirming that these were player-issued only. His autograph appears on both toes in shiny 9/10 silver with "VS. NYK" inscribed on the left. They come with their original laces and are presented in their original Panini black box. Great pair of game-worn kicks to add to your collection from a player who could go down as one of the greats.
