Offered here is a pair of Dwyane Wade's game-worn and dual-signed Li Ning "DWade" shoes from the 2014-15 season. It was a tough year for the Heat as the off-season departure of LeBron James and in-season loss of Chris Bosh to a blood clot left their roster depleted. Yet Wade continued to add to his surefire Hall of Fame resume by averaging 21.5 points and 4.8 assists per game. He wore these same Li Ning shoes on March 7 vs. Sacramento and March 9 vs. Boston in which he put up 28 and 34 points respectively. The Heat beat the Kings by 5 but lost to the Celtics by 10. The consignor acquired them directly from a Miami Heat ball boy who worked both games at American Airlines Arena and originally procured them from Wade.
Wade's black Li Ning signature model sneakers come in size 15 and have a fresh style fitting of DWade's smooth demeanor on the court. The Li Ning ribbon-like logo appears on the lace strap in black and white spotted form. The DWade Li Ning star logo appears in three places: on the tongue in orange on the heel on white and o the outsole in white. "DWADE" is stamped in three places as well: heel and each side. Wade has signed the outside toe area of each in 7-8/10 silver paint pen. The original laces are intact and all elements are as-issued. They show light game use. The insole has been removed most likely by Wade so he could insert his own customized Orthotic as many players prefer to do.In 2012 Wade left Nike to sign an endorsement deal with the Chinese apparel company and continues to wear their shoes exclusively. In 2006 Shaq became the first big NBA name to wear Li Ning followed by Baron Davis in 2008. Nice pair of DWade gamers with a reliable team source who would like to remain anonymous.
Includes Letter of Provenance from consignor who got acquired them from a Heat ball boy. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
