Offered here is a remarkable pairing of artifacts from the late and beloved Yogi Berra a splendid New York Yankees coachs jersey from the team's 1977 World Series Championship season and a companion Yankees cap from the 1970s the latter item boasting a handsome Berra autograph under the brim. The home pinstriped jersey is in impeccable condition showing appropriate coach's wear with some pilling on the front around the Yankees NY interlocking logo and light fraying of some of the navy blue stitching front and back. Shirt has a team tag with Berra embroidered at the collar and the Size 44 Wilson tag on the front tail directly above another team tag with 77 1. Berras famed No. 8 is on the back in navy blue tackle twill. The accompanying cap is in similarly fantastic condition showing light wear and coming essentially as-issued. There is only a tiny whisper of fraying of white stitching on the Yankees interlocking logo on the cap. Berras No. 8 is penned in black marker under the brim directly above a concise and attractive Berra black Sharpie autograph.
