The original Yankee Stadium opened up for business in April of 1923. Appropriately the iconic Babe Ruth hit the ballparks very first home run on April 18 in the teams home opener against the visiting Boston Red Sox. This lot features a limited edition (#22/27) multi-signed vintage 16 x 20 black-and-white photograph showing the facade of Yankee Stadium during its early days. On the top half of the photo which simply shows the sky 15 different Yankee standouts from years gone by have signed the image in blue marker and have added special inscriptions below their signatures. Notable autographs include Anthony Christopher Kubek Jr. (1957 R.O.Y.); William Joseph Skowron (Moose); Robert Clinton Richardson (1960 WS MVP); Albert W. Lyle (77 CY); Bobby Ray Murcer (5X All Star); Richard Michael Gossage (Goose); Mariano Rivera (Enter Sandman); Graig Nettles (7th YANKEE CPT); and Reggie Jackson (Mr. October). Beautifully matted and framed the overall presentation piece is ready for hanging and measures 26.5 wide x 22.5 high.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
