Game used hockey stick and black & white 8" by 10" photo both signed by Willie O'Ree the first African-American to play in the National Hockey League.

1)Vintage Northland Pro Model stick game used by Willie O'Ree while a member of the Los Angeles Blades of the old Western Hockey League. O'Ree has signed on the shaft in beautiful 8/10 vintage blue ink "To my Pal Junior from your buddy "Willie" April 7 1964 Los Angeles Blades 63-64". "NORTHLAND PRO" "MADE BY NORTHLAND SKI MFG. CO. ST. PAUL MINN. U. S. A." "10 OREE" "LIE NO 5" and "LEFT" all stamped on shaft. Stick displays excellent game use. Evidence of tape removed from blade. Pair of holes at top and bottom probably the result of mounting at one time. Top at nob has been cut diagonally.

2) 8 by 10 Black & white photo of O'Ree in his Boston Bruins uniform handling the puck signed "To "Newport Sports Museum" My warmest regards "Willie O'Ree" Boston Bruins 1958-61" in perfect 10/10 looking black felt tip pen.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
