May 24 1898 Postmaster of Yonkers New York commission signed by President William McKinley and his Postmaster General. Outstanding 9-10/10 perfect looking vintage steel tip pen William McKinley signature. 17" by 22" commission is held in place by glass and not attached to any backing. Gold seal has tarnished some over time. Some creasing from being folded with one tear at the left center edge and some separation along the center vertical fold. A few light stains. Nice modern frame measures 19" by 25". Displays very nicely.
