The signature of baseballs famed Grey Eagle appears flawlessly rendered across the upper right background area of this 6 ½ by 8 ½ original photo for optimal contrast. Speakers black fountain pen signature and non-personalized Best Wishes salutation grade MINT 9 according to PSA/DNA. The Philadelphia Athletics uniform donned by Speaker pinpoints the photograph to 1928 the only year he played for Philadelphia and the last year of his playing career. The photo itself exhibits outstanding contrast and clarity with an EX-MT appearance on front. The back shows glue and paper residue throughout from album mounting and a large shipping label with Tris Speaker Hall of Fame written on it in ink. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (signature grade MINT 9).
