Nice trio of college football game used helmetsfrom three storied programs in the state of Texas where football is king. The group comesfrom the museum collection at the San Diego Hallof Champions which sourced many directly from the annual Holiday Bowl game played locally and includes the following.
University of Texas Longhorns: Riddell-looking helmet (logo not shown) with "98" dated mask clips. UT played in Holiday Bowl 2000 2001 &2003. Based on #1 decal on back it is attributed to WR Bryant White (1998) CB Ervis Hill(1999-2001) QB Chris Simms (2000-01) DT Larry Dibbles (2002) WR SloanThomas (2002-03) or CB Erick Jackson (2003). Shows moderate use inside and out.
Texas A&M Aggies: Riddell helmet stamped "99 2005" inside with "06 05" manufacturer's date. Mask clipsdated "05". 10th Anniversary Big 12 decal on back means it was likely worn during 2005 season. Team playedin 2006 Holiday Bowl. #99 player unknown. Comes with customized protective glass visor made by Nike. Shows solid game use. Very nice example.
Texas Tech Red Raiders: Air helmet has clips dated "00" with 2000 re-certified sticker inside along with "N.SMITH"Dymo label. According to SDHOC helmet was acquiredfollowing a Holiday Bowl but Tech didn't play in it until 2004. Shows solid game use throughout.
