This 1993 All-Star Game ring was presented to Tony Gwynn who was making his ninth appearance in the Mid-Summer Classic with a half dozen more to come in the Hall of Famers remarkable career. It was a notable season in yet another sense: Gwynn would win his final four (of eight total) batting championships from 1994-97 stringing together the greatest batting stretch of his fabled career but he didnt win the title in 1993 despite hitting a whopping .358 which is a pretty good trick in itself.

Ring has a CZ diamond on the face atop a blue stone surrounded by "Baseball All-Star 1993" in raised lettering. The iconic MLB logo is on one shank in a sculpted figural with information about the game at Camden Yards in Baltimore; the other has the National League emblem logo in sculpted figural. Inside of the band is stamped Balfour Auralite. Comes in a black felt jewelry box; all elements of the ring appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. Ring size 9. Weight 24 grams.

Includes a Letter of Authenticity from The Gwynn Family.

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Tony Gwynn Collection will be donated to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation.
