If you want to become a larger-than-life figure in a passionate sports town winning multiple championships is your ticket. No two athletes this millennium have earned more respect from their hometown faithful than Patriots QB Tom Brady and Red Sox slugger David Ortiz. With eight titles between them Big Papi and Tommy Terrific are worshiped to the likes of Ted Williams Bill Russell and Bobby Orr by the Boston faithful.
This lot features a dual-signed 16x20 color photo of the two superstars smiling and holding up their respective championship hardware with Ortiz in uniform and Brady looking pretty casual. Double -matted and framed the print is entitled “CHAMPIONS MEET” and features the Patriots and Red Sox logos on either side. In addition the lot includes a limited edition David Ortiz autographed New England Patriots jersey (uniform number #34) that’s numbered 6/34. Ortiz has signed the back of the jersey on the “4” in blue fine-point marker and added the inscription “Go Pats!” His last name – “ORTIZ” appears across the shouldered in white tackle twill sewn onto a blue nameplate.
