The 2006 NFL season saw the New England Patriots once again win the AFC East Division title with a 12-4 record before dropping a 38-34 thriller to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC title game. With three Super Bowl rings to his credit at that time, Pats QB Tom Brady remained a hot commodity. The ageless wonder has since added two more rings to complete one whole hand, his legacy now unmatched among the all-time greats.

The offered New England Patriots game-worn uniform donned by Brady is photo-matched to a December 17, 2006, game against the Houston Texans, a 40-7 rout that saw the Patriots' superstar quarterback throw for two touchdowns. The rare gray mesh alternate format features a tri-colored tackle twill number "12" on the chest, shoulders and verso, where his last name – “BRADY” – stands in three-inch block on rear nameplate. The interior collar is tagged "05-48," but Steiner's letter and, more importantly, definitive photo-matches from two professional experts attribute its use to 2006 on-field action. Tail tagging has been lost to elasticized customization.

The accompanying blue pants hold a "Reebok" manufacturer's label inside the waistline that bears a handwritten "12 S" identifier. A "06-34" swatch is applied just above, with three flap tags anchored at the right edge. The wear is appropriately light for a single game in which Brady went relatively untouched behind center. It is incredibly rare for one of Tom's jerseys, let alone a full uniform, to surface in the hobby, and this same uni sold for $66,000 at auction earlier this past May. Considering his two stolen Super Bowl uniforms that were famously recovered In Mexico received a combined $800,000 evaluation, that result may be bargain for the man now considered the G-O-A-T in almost every water cooler discussion.

Includes LOA from Steiner and photo-matched LOA’s from Resolution Photomatching and Real Game Used.
