Five-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots has been named to the Pro Bowl 13 times during his illustrious career. In 2014 he was once again selected but chose not to play--a pattern since the NFL moved the Pro Bowl to the week before the Super Bowl in 2010. If not for the Pats playing in the AFC Championship every year since 2011 and usually making it to the Super Bowl Brady would surely suit up more often for the annual All-Star contest.
Offered here is Tom Brady's 2014 Pro Bowl “Team Sanders” game ready jersey. 2014 marked another change to the Pro Bowl format with two Hall of Famers serving as team captains and picking teams regardless of conference. As it turned out Team Sanders coached by Deion Sanders dropped a 22-21 decision to "Team Rice" coached by Jerry Rice. Ironically Nick Foles took home MVP honors for Team Rice a sign of bigger things to come for the Eagles QB.
The gray nylon/spandex Nike 'On Field' V-Neck jersey [size 44] features the official “NFL Pro Bowl” logo in silver outlined in black on the front left shoulder area with Brady’s uniform number “12” in silver tackle twill outlined in black and fluorescent green. The official Nike manufacturers tag appears in gray black and white on the inside rear collar with two flag tags reading “2013” and “+4 LENGTH.” His jersey number appears in similar tackle twill fashion on both shoulders as well as the back of the jersey. The Nike swoosh as well as the Patriots team logo both appear in silver outlined in black on both sleeves. His last name “BRADY” appears in green fluorescent tackle twill lettering sewn directly onto a gray mesh nameplate that’s sewn onto a gray mesh panel that stretches across the entire shoulder area. The official NFL logo shield appears in silver red and blue at the base of the V-Neck opening.
