Tiger Woods last won a major tournament his 14th major overall in 2008 at the U.S. Open. Competing at the Torrey Pines South Course in La Jolla California Woods played inspiring golf throughout and eventually won the title only after defeating runner-up Rocco Mediate in a thrilling 18-hole playoff held on Monday. Following the competition it was learned that Woods had endured a double stress fracture of his left tibia at some point during tournament play but played on. This lot features a thrilling photo from the tournament right after Woods holed in another long putt. The 16 wide by 20 high color photo showing Woods employing his patented fist pump` has been beautifully framed and matted and comes with a silver-and-black plaque describing the scene.
