Beautiful cabinet card picturing "The Champions of 1894 '95 and '96" features a real picture image of the Baltimore Orioles winners of 3 straight National League pennants from 1894 through 1896 and the 1896 Temple Cup Champions. Fascinating card actually pictures the 1894 Baltimore Orioles team winners of 24 out their last 25 games to capture their first National League pennant. On this team were 7 future Hall of Famers - Manager Ned Hanlon 1st baseman Dan Brouthers shortstop Hughie Jennings 3rd Baseman John McGraw left fielder Joe Kelly right fielder Willie Keeler and catcher Wilbert Robinson. Card has crystal clear photographic image. Heavy diagonal crease across the upper right corner and numerous other vertical creases. Heavy stains also at the upper right corner with a few other scattered light stains. 5" by 7" card has a blank back. Excellent photo of one of the premier teams of early baseball history.
