If there was one image that conveyed all the fun and exuberance that makes Marilyn Monroe the most beloved and desired movie icon of all-time, this may be the one. The young star is captured at a rakish angle, her daring low cut dress shimmering in the studio lighting, her smiling face looking behind her with the alluring glance she made her trademark. It’s a classic image beautifully printed and preserved for the ages.
The front has a studio marking in the lower right border area. The edges show some wear, and the corners exhibit some rounding, though none of this affects the image. The reverse is blank except for some indistinguishable markings and some glue residue and light staining.
The photo has been encapsulated and graded an Authentic Type 1 by PSA.
