Here is something you don't see everyday in the hobby a classy men's outer garment worn by the NBA's 2014-15 MVP and newly crowned World Champion Stephen Curry! The single-breasted peaked-lapel jacket is custom-made by Astor & Black the brand that designs suits and other gentleman's wear specifically for professional athletes (http://www.astorandblack.com/we-know-big-and-tall). The jacket was found recently by a self-titled "clothes collector" at a Chinatown thrift store near Curry's in-season San Francisco residence.
Fabric is a navy herringbone constructed of a mid-weight worsted wool. Featuring fully-canvassed construction the jacket is fully-lined with a 2-button double vent silhouette and includes a strip of lining to keep vents closed. Tailoring details include functioning cuffs ticket pocket and handpicked stitching throughout. Astor & Black maker tag is prominently featured outside the left interior breast pocket with the embroidered text "for Stephen Curry". Additional factory tag located inside breast pocket reads "NAME Stephen Curry / ORDER NO SFCG-SU58 / DATE 2009-11-09". Since it is custom fit for Curry there is no size labeled but it fits the build of someone 6'3" with a slender athletic build such as Steph. Comes in excellent pre-owned condition. Moderate wear evident with some light fabric pilling. There is staining on the lining inside the rear tail. Snazzy jacket worn by perhaps the most popular athlete on the planet right now.
