Featured here is a snazzy pair of Kevin Durant game-worn and dual-signed "KD" signature model Nike shoes from the 2012-13 season. With a scoring average of 28.1 points per game Durant fell 0.6 shy of Carmelo Anthony from defending his scoring title. Yet he did something even more impressive that season becoming the youngest member (25 years old) in NBA history of the 504090 club as he shot 51% from the field 41.6% from 3-pt range and 90.5% from the free-throw line. He helped lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to the best record in the Western Conference at 60-22. Unfortunately an injury to Russell Westbrook in the playoffs derailed the team's title chances.
The mostly black with orange and blue Nike Zoom sneakers have Thunder-themed colors and come in Durant's monster size 18. "KD" is stamped in its unique design on the tongues in orange. The heels have Durant's jersey number "35" in raised lettering. The insoles come in a black cool-dry material and the outsoles are solid orange again stamped with his initials. They come with their original blue laces. Durant has signed over the outside toes on each shoe with his #35 inscribed in shiny gold-painted pen. The right has smudged a bit while the left essentially rates a perfect 10. The shoes show ample game use inside and out. They present as-issued and problem-free.PSA/DNA certs (Y83028 & Y83029) for each shoe.
