This lot features three boxers from the Caribbean. Kid Gavilan and Teofilo Stevenson were Cuban-born while Emile Griffith was from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Gavilan and Griffith have signed left-handed Everlast gloves while Stevenson has signed a righty glove. All three have signed in black felt tip pen. The Stevenson autograph has the added inscription of "Cuba" below the signature and has faded significantly but is still readable and would rate a 5/10. The Emile Griffith and Kid Gavilan signatures are very crisp and would rate a 8-9/10.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
