Presented here is a full unused ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship bout between defending champion Muhammad Ali and challenger Ken Norton. The fight was held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on September 28 1976. The pair had split their first two meetings and this would be their third and final match. It was a tough bruising battle. By the end most observers felt that Norton was the winner but ultimately the judges awarded Ali a very controversial unanimous decision. Boxing Monthly listed the 3rd Ali-Norton fight as the #5 most disputed title fight decision in boxing history. The ticket comes in remarkable condition super clean front and back. The Near Mint slab by PSA is even a bit harsh. The only blemish if there is one is the ever so slight roundness of a couple corners. A PSA VG 3 example sold at SCP Auctions' Fall 2013 Premier for $2167.
