Presented here is Denver Broncos star wide receiver Demaryius Thomas’ game-worn jersey from the team’s Sept. 11 2017 season opener at home against the rival Chargers. The Broncos’ first round pick in 2010 out of Georgia Tech Thomas had five straight 1000-yard receiving seasons until falling just 51 yards short last year due mostly to the team’s subpar quarterback play. In this contest he caught five balls for 67 yards as Denver held off the newly relocated and rebranded Los Angeles Chargers 24-21 at Sports Authority Field. Pounded with wear and easily photo-matched the jersey comes courtesy of Panini’s exclusive game-used memorabilia partnership with the Broncos.
The orange jersey comes in size "42" as seen on the Nike ‘On Field’ label inside the collar with serial number 219110078228 and "2017" and “-2 Length” flag tags. Thomas' No. "88" is sewn on the front back and both shoulders in white-on-navy tackle twill. His Captain’s “C” patch with three out of four gold stars adorns the right upper chest. "BRONCOS" is stitched on the upper chest between the numbers and NFL logo at the V-neck collar. Navy blue trim runs around the collar and down the sides. "THOMAS" appears across the back in white tackle twill on an orange nameplate. Washing instructions can be found inside the left inseam. Grass stains cover the back numbers among other areas and there are contact hit paint transfers on the front numbers NOB and right shoulder which is slightly torn from use as well.
