This full, unused ticket to the World Trade Center Observatories was purchased at 7:51 pm on the evening of September 10, 2001. However, due to the heavy rains that night, the ticket holder decided to postpone their trip to the top and instead use it the following day. Of course, the next day was September 11, and by the time the Observatories was to open at 9:30 am, the Trade Centers were in flames, this ticket was rendered useless, and the world would never be the same again. The pop report shows a total of 75 tickets that were not used from previous dates throughout that year, However, there are three World Trade Center Observatory tickets dated September 10, 2001, this example time stamped 19:51 (7:51 PM) is the latest one in existence and thus the last known ticket purchased before the terrorist attack. This unused $13.50 ticket measures 2” x 8” and includes the identification codes, “00301003776183” and “003 282338 13. The reverse features an advertisement for J&R Music World. The ticket is in excellent condition with just light wear visible. A historic piece for one of the biggest tragedies in US history. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded EX 5 by PSA.
