Southpaw Sandy Koufax was nicknamed The Left Arm of God during his Hall of Fame pitching career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. By the time he retired at the relatively young age of 30 he had 165 victories and 2396 Ks to his credit. He even post four no-hitters! But perhaps more importantly than any of the personal statistics Koufax had helped the Dodgers reach four World Series and win three of them: 1959 63 and 65.
Offered here is a piece of original artwork celebrating Koufax by renowned sports artist Christopher Paluso. Measuring 24 wide by 18 high it captures Koufax in four scenes from his brilliant on-field career. The artwork is signed by Paluso in the bottom right corner and was utilized in the production of 1000 limited-edition lithographs celebrating Sandys remarkable big league career in Dodger Blue.
