Ron Cey had 1,139 career runs batted in, with the ball hit for one of the biggest milestones along the way offered here. On May 29, 1978, the Dodgers squared off against the Padres and Hall of Fame starting pitcher Gaylord Perry in Los Angeles. Cey singled this ball off Perry and recorded his 500th career RBI. The Dodgers went on to beat the Padres 9-6. The ball is accompanied by an LOA from Cey and is part of the Cey Collection.
