Presented here is a remarkable artifact that commemorates one of the many key historic moments from Rod Woodsons legendary career: the pair of gloves used to set the NFL record with 10 interceptions returned for a touchdown. His 71 career interceptions is the third-most in NFL history. Woodson wore these gloves during the 2001 season as a member of the Baltimore Ravens including their 39-27 home win vs. Indianapolis on Dec. 2nd in which he picked off a Peyton Manning pass and took it 47 yards to the house. These facts are backed by game photos and an accompanying letter signed by the Hall of Famer. Woodson added two more "pick 6" in 2002 with the Raiders to finish his career with 12. Charles Woodson currently sits 2nd all-time with 11. The gloves are in spectacular condition showing game use but remaining largely as-issued and problem-free. The tri-color leather gloves have the Nike Swoosh embroidered logo on each and the famed NFL Shield logo on the wristband. Woodson has signed in bold black Sharpie on one of the white-leather panels on each glove adding his No. 26 inscription as well.
