On September 24 2000 the visiting Baltimore Ravens handed a 37-0 trouncing to the host Cincinnati Bengals. The shutout by Baltimores defense considered the best in the league would mark the teams second of four that season one in which they eventually won the Super Bowl. The decisive win was further aided by an interception by Ravens DB Rod Woodson. This lot includes a pair of painted game balls awarded to Woodson following that triumph. The first was a game ball awarded to all starting members of the defense that day that contributed to the shutout. The second game ball was awarded to Woodson by virtue of his interception one of 71 he would record during his prolific 17-year career. Both game balls reflect the final score and date of the victory.
