On Sept. 8 1996 the Pittsburgh Steelers were coming off of a surprising 24-9 defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars the week before. Squaring off this day against the visiting Baltimore Ravens the Steelers bounced back with a convincing 31-17. Defensive back Rod Woodson stood out in this game as turned a first-quarter interception into a 43-yard touchdown return. He also added a fumble recovery later in the game. This lot includes Woodsons beautifully painted game ball that was awarded to him following the convincing win. One single panel is painted white and calls out in black-and-gold text the date and score of the game as well as the following text: Defensive Game Ball ROD WOODSON 43-yard interception return for touchdown & fumble recovery.
