On Dec. 2 2001 the Baltimore Ravens outlasted the visiting Indianapolis Colts by the score of 39-27. Baltimores victory was inked when cornerback Rod Woodson intercepted a Peyton Manning pass and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown with 1:34 remaining. The INT returned for a touchdown set a new NFL record as it was Woodsons 10th overall. This is the painted game ball that was awarded to Woodson following that momentous win. One of the four panels is painted white with the following text applied in purple: ROD WOODSON NFL RECORD 10TH INTERCEPTION RETURNED FOR A TOUCHDOWN RAVENS 39 COLTS 27 DECEMEBER 2ND 2001. A memorable piece of sports memorabilia from a memorable NFL game.
