14K White Gold watch given by B'NAI B'RITH to undefeated World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Marciano at his retirement luncheon on Mays 6 1956. Rocky Marciano held the World Heavyweight Championship Title from September 23 1952 to April 27 1956. He went undefeated over the course of his entire career going a perfect 49-0. He defended his title six times against Jersey Joe Walcott Roland LaStarza Ezzard Charles (twice) Don Cockell and Archie Moore. Known for his relentless style stamina and an iron chin Marciano has been ranked by boxing historians as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. His knockout percentage of 87.75 (43 KO in 49 fights) remains one of the highest in heavyweight boxing history. Small pair of real diamonds represent the hour and minute hands. Beautiful condition Le Coultre watch stamped on the back "14K GOLD D & A Vacheron Constantin - Le Coultre Watches Inc." and engraved "PRESENTED BY B'NAI B'RITH SPORTS LODGE OF BOSTON TO ROCKY MARCIANO UNDEFEATED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ON HIS RETIREMENT MAY 6 1955". Not sure if the great condition "GENUINE CROCODILE" watch band is original to the watch or not. The watch did run when wound. Awesome looking watch!
