Robin Yount's signed and inscribed Louisville Slugger Professional Signature Model P72 bat used to hit his milestone 3000 career hit on September 9 1992. After going hitless his first 2 times up against Cleveland Indian starter Jose Mesa Yount again faced him in the 7th. This time he would single to right field making him the 3rd youngest players ever to reach the magic 3000 hit mark. On the barrel of the bat Yount has signed "'MY 3000TH HIT BAT' 9/9/92 Robin Yount" in perfect looking 9/10 black felt tip pen. Yount's number "19" in black marker on the top of knob along with a smaller light black ink "3000". Bat has not been cracked and displays excellent game use. Medium pine tar still on the handle. Numerous ball contact bat rack and cleat marks on barrel. A historic game used memento direct from the Hall of Fame player who accomplished the feat. Bat is 34 3/4" long and weighs 31.9 ounces.

LOA from Robin Yount.
