1979 Baltimore Orioles 10K Gold American League Championship ring given to catcher Rick Dempsey. The Orioles lost the World Series 4 games to 1 to the Pittsburgh Pirates after winning 3 of the first 4 to open the World Championship. Orange stone on top surrounded by "Baltimore Orioles". "Dempsey" "24" and "Orioles" in enameled red script on one side with "1979" the Orioles logo highlighted with orange enamel and an image of Memorial Stadium on the other. "LGB 10K stamped on the inside. Size 10 1/4.
