Reggie Jackson signature model Adirondack bat game used during the 1973 World Series and obtained by an NBC employee working at that event. The employee our consignor was on the field behind the back stop during batting practice when Jackson broke his bat. He had the ball boy retrieve the bat and later after the game he took the bat to the A's dressing room and had Jackson sign it. 1973 would see the A's win their 2nd of 3 consecutive World Series titles downing the New York Mets 4 games to 3. Jackson hit .310 for the Series hitting a home run and leading the A's with 6 RBIs. Jackson has signed the bat in 6/10 blue ink on the barrel. "288" and "RJ" stamped on the knob. This stamping dates the bat from the 1971-1979 labeling period. Bat is cracked at the handle which exhibits good pine tar use. Barrel displays heavy use with cleat ball and bat rack marks. Bat is 34 1/2" long and weighs 36 ounces. Comes with a pair of ticket stubs from both Game 6 and Game 7 a 1973 World Series NBC TV "Everywhere" pass to Oakland Alameda County Stadium and several press hand outs loaded with game statistics plus where and how box lunches will be distributed to the media.

Includes a LOA from the consignor.
