Red Ruffing ranks among the greatest pitchers of the Yankees dynasty era, winning 273 career games including four 20-win seasons and compiling a sterling 7-2 record in World Series play with New York. This baseball bears Ruffing's vintage signature in blue ink along with a personal inscription — "Wishes, 'Red' Ruffing" — applied in his distinctive hand directly on the sweet spot of the ball. The leather has aged to a warm cream patina consistent with a vintage piece, and the signature retains good contrast and legibility against the darkened surface. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a Letter of Authenticity. A charming inscribed ball from one of the great Yankees of the Ruth-Gehrig era, offered with the added provenance of Ruffing's self-styled nickname inscription.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
