The title says it nicely: "phenomenal game wear" which is precisely what jumps out at you with this 2011 Ray Lewis Baltimore Ravens game-worn and autographed jersey. Playing middle linebacker for his entire 17-year career with the Ravens Lewis is considered one of the greatest ever to play the position and awaits only the required passage of time before it becomes official in Canton Ohio. He was selected to 13 Pro Bowls and named an Associated Press All-Pro 10 times won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2000 and 2003 and was also the second linebacker to win the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award. After a triceps tear that sidelined him for most of the 201213 season Lewis returned for the playoffs and guided the Ravens playoff run and a victory in Super Bowl XLVII earning his second ring. Lewis wore this jersey in the team's 31-24 loss to the Steelers in the Divisional Playoffs that year with the linebacker turning in nine total tackles and six solos all of which appear to be instantly visible on this shirt. The white Ravens mesh with elastic sleeves and side panels is a Size 46 marvel with Lewis' legendary No. 52 in stacked gold purple and black tackle twill on the front (with "Ravens" embroidered above in black stitching) back and shoulders and his name "R. Lewis" in purple tackle twill on a nameplate on the back. A white strip tag with "10 - 46" appears on the back of the collar and a Berlin Wis. fabric content and wash tag appears on the inside bottom seam. The distinctive Ravens "shield" patch is found on both sleeves directly below the Reebok symbol in purple stitch embroidery on white tackle twill. The NFL Equipment patch appears at the bottom of the V neck on the front. Lewis has signed in silver Sharpie atop his "2" on the back adding the inscriptions of his No. 52 and "Game Worn 1/15/11 Pittsburgh Steelers" below.
Multiple photo matches show easily identifiable grass and dirt staining patters and markings including a black slash mark near the left front neck/shoulder area (below number 5 on shoulder).
